Self-serve installation, configuration, and operation of Proxima Gateway
Proxima Gateway is a programmable edge gateway: geo-aware routing, ASN-based URL replacement, country blocking, rate limiting, brute-force protection, and multi-server management — all controlled from one dashboard.
This guide covers the whole lifecycle: connecting your server, installing the binary, configuring proxy rules, applying updates, and recovering when things go sideways.
You're a customer
You own one server and run Proxima Gateway on it. Skip to:
- Connect your server — enter SSH credentials so the dashboard can reach your box
- Install the binary — one click, watch progress in real time
- Apply updates — when a new version
ships, you'll see a notification on
/app - License status — what Active, Grace, and Expired mean for you
You're an admin
You run the platform. Skip to:
- Creating customers — onboard a new client; the system provisions their server stub + license key
- Managing licenses — view, regenerate, revoke, reinstate
- Publishing releases — upload a binary to R2, register the version, mark it latest
- Platform settings — IP allowlist shown to customers in the install wizard
Configuring the proxy
Once installed, every Proxima feature is configurable from the dashboard:
